Chase Bank to Open Second TLH Branch

J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A. continues to expand upon its initial push into the Tallahassee market. As they near completion on their first location at 699 W Gaines St (

expected to open December 19th

), new plans show that they expect to open a second location at 3528 Thomasville Rd after remodeling the vacant bank structure which currently exists there.

No word yet on when this second, Northside location will be completed, but TLH Development will keep you apprised with any further updates.

Hyatt House Planned for Railroad Square

Hyatt is looking to bring its line of upscale, extended stay hotels to Tallahassee with a location at Railroad Square. MountainShore Properties has submitted plans to develop a Hyatt House at 602 McDonnell Dr with a one-story retail component across the street.

Tri-Delta Sorority Aims to Build a New House

The ladies of the Delta Delta Delta sorority at Florida State are planning something big. Site plans show a new, sprawling brick house to be located at 534 West Park Ave. The structure comes in at 24,142 sq ft, and at a cost of $6,649,680. Not bad.

Developer will Convert Offices into Housing

Greenleaf Twin LLC is a local developer I have covered once prior for his successful endeavor to redevelop an apartment complex on the Southside. In another earnest attempt to make Tallahassee a better place, he is planning an adaptive reuse of four older offices near TMH at 1217 & 1219 Miccosukee Rd. He plans to convert the offices into workforce housing with "the intent to preserve as much existing exterior building fabric as possible."

New Triplexes to go up in All Saints

Leparulo Properties plans to construct two new triplex multi-family buildings on a vacant lot next to the Cloisters of All Saints. The project, located between All Saints St and St. Francis St, will contain six 3-bedroom units for a total of 18 bedrooms. Resident parking will be provided on site under the buildings.
