Florida State Announces new Football-only Facility
Warchant reports that this newsletter's alma mater, Florida State University, has plans to build a new $60 million football-only athletic facility along Stadium Drive. The complex will provide the team with an additional 122,000 sq ft of practice space and amenities. The facility is expected to open in 2021.

New Owners for the Florida Press Center
Pensacola-based commercial real estate firm Beck Partners has acquired the Florida Press Center at 336 E College Ave. The building is a quintessential part our downtown and has long served as a beacon for North Florida's press and politicos. Beck Partners hopes to restore the building to its former glory with with improvements to the building's facade, the office-spaces, and the building's technology assets.

TLH Airport Progress
The City of Tallahassee has released a new video detailing the progress of improvements to TLH International Airport. Currently, crews are ahead of schedule on a project to rehabilitate and reconstruct the airport's general aviation ramp and aircraft parking. On a related note, the City Commission will likely choose a design consultant for the airport's long-awaited International Passenger Processing Facility at the next Commission Meeting.

New Warehouse by I-10
Developers are seeking approval to build a 8,334 sq ft structure intended for use as a warehouse and an office building. The building will be situated between I-10 and Maryland Circle.

Local Musician Gets a Hometown Shoutout
Upstart local rapper Profit Dinero got a little boost this week from another hometown hero and rapper, T-Pain. The rapper made a rare endorsement when he retweeted Dinero's recent music video, Tallahassee Love. The song shares the namesake of an earlier T-Pain song from his "Epiphany" project released back in 2007.
